Macadamia Pesto


2 cups basil leaves
1 cup macadamia nuts
2 cloves garlic
1 TB lemon juice


100 ml olive oil or macadamia oil
65 gram grated parmesan cheese (optional)
1/2 tsp sea salt


  1. Wash and dry basil leaves.
  2. Put into food processor with macadamia nuts and garlic.
  3. Process well until combined.
  4. Add parmesan and salt, process drizzling in oil until smooth.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
  6. Great drizzled over pasta.
